Research and develop technical ATA course modules for the Embraer ERJ 190-400, E195-E2 in support of Porter’s Approved Training Organization
Write user-friendly course syllabus and detailed Instructor notes to ensure presentation continuity between all Instructors
Create written exams for type endorsement training based on the requirements contained with the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Standard 566
Participate in regular departmental meetings
Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

A college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational facility
Holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license
Embraer experience an asset, E190 family
2-4 years’ experience working as a Trainer or effective Technical Writer within the Industry
Experience working in a leadership role within an Approved Maintenance Organization (eg. Maintenance Operations Coordinator, Lead Aircraft Certification Authority, etc).
Experience in learning and adult learning facilitation is an asset
Proficient computer skills with the ability to generate published documents
Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive unit
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
