Job Details

FUNCTION: Fulfill the administrative requirements of the Airport Operations department.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for Airport Operations departmental administration.

  • Maintain network wide inventory and equipment.  Manage the supply, replenishment, and distribution of these items to ensure the company’s ability to operate is not impeded.

  • Onboard new vendors in the vendor payment system.

  • Process and code vendor invoices, including charges on corporate credit cards, to enable payment in a timely manner.

  • Provide administrative support to Vice President, Airport Operations and Director, Airport Operations including schedule management, travel arrangements, and expense claims.

  • Handles special assignments related to operational performance and performance improvement, efficiency, and safety.

  • Support the Manager, Airport Operation Planning, Analysis, and Administration in overseeing the scheduling practices of hourly employees for all departments within Airport Operations.

  • Support the implementation of Corporate Projects in Airport Operations to ensure thorough implementation of initiatives and deliver value-driving projects.

  • Support new station start ups.

  • Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Gmail, and Google Cloud products 

  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Positive track record of establishing/maintaining positive and cooperative working relationships with others, both internally and externally

  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness

  • Ability to undertake self-directed tasks

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • The capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
