Job Details

FUNCTION: Enter daily aircraft technical records and major component shop repair details into the maintenance computer system 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review of work packages from Production

- Enter all technical data into RAAS (Maintenance computer system)

- Daily Technical Maintenance Input (TMIs) including but is not limited to:   
 - Oil Service
 - Prop balance and PSUE update in P drive
 - Component changes
 - Constraint comply/reset
 - Journey Logbook Page entries
 - Scanned documents

- Filing and storage of all technical records (i.e. Journey and Cabin log pages)

- Issue Observation forms for findings on technical paperwork and file when completed

- Issue AWCs to production for major component build up, installation and removal

- In coordination with Supervisor, Planning schedule major component removal and replacement

- Enter all technical data from Major Component shop visits into RAAS to show all work completed

- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

- Other duties/tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Experience working in an aircraft planning department would be an advantage
  • Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances.
