Job Details

FUNCTION: The primary function of the CRM Specialist is to deliver a global CRM strategy designed to maximize revenue at the customer level across multiple channels. This position plans and delivers customer lifecycle marketing experiences designed to improve subscriber acquisition and retention, optimize targeting and personalized messaging, extend/deepen customer engagement, and drive incremental bookings at optimal fares. This position is responsible for driving CRM innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and complying with CASL laws.

The role will collaborate with other members of the Marketing team and several internal departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign build, set-up, scheduling, testing and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Manage the implementation of automated messaging via Oracle Marketing Cloud, including end-to-end journey building, audience targeting and personalization
  • Work with the team to implement testing methodologies (A/B and multivariate testing) to improve conversion and engagement rates using Oracle Marketing Cloud (OMC)
  • Support Marketing, Loyalty, Corporate and Agency Sales with campaign preparation and execution.
  • Leverage unique OMC Responsys features including Predictive Intelligence, Journey Builder and Audience Builder to deliver a 1-1 experience to our audiences.
  • Work closely with the Data & Analytics teams to identify opportunities for, audience segmentation and technology /data improvements for campaign enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of email marketing best practices with coding, user interface design and testing of email campaigns
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B testing, and promotions that succeed through email
  • Monitor, analyze and report on email performance across segments and identify ways to improve KPIs (conversion rates, Click rates, Web analytics).
  • Owns the CRM roadmap and contributes to the Marketing Intelligence Roadmap.
  • Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of online marketing experience, including extensive experience with advanced customer segmentation to drive targeting and hyper-personalization.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and implementing effective email campaigns using Oracle Responsys including marketing automation strategies
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template coding
  • Basic SQL query building skills preferred, in order to extract audience level data from Porter’s internal databases
  • Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills required. Tableau experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience developing regular campaign performance presentations
  • Ability to leverage data insights to tell a cohesive story for executive-level presentations
  • Intermediate understanding of digital advertising trends and technologies in acquisition channels (SEM, display, SEO)
  • Organized with very strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or similar preferred.
