Job Details

The Brand and Product Specialist is responsible for coordinating a full range of marketing initiatives. 


  • Reviews, audits and updates brand standards and their compliance across operations - airplanes, airports, catering, offices, marketing material, etc.

  • Owns assigned projects; defines desired outcomes, identifies potential solutions, determines financial options, makes recommendations for approval and executes implementation.

  • Liaises with operational departments for creation and maintenance of branded materials and product specifications.

  • Works with external parties regarding co-brand partnership, onboard partner products, sponsorships and advertising sales opportunities (ex: surprise & delight).

  • Monitors usage and updates with third-party supplier of In-Flight-Entertainment and WiFi.

  • Supports on-board menu decisions, buy-on-board and duty-free programs.

  • Ensures deadlines are met with the third-party producer of re:porter magazine.

  • Coordinates efforts related to the development and production of Porter-branded merchandise.

  • Liaises with the team’s Project Manager to keep on track with projects.

  • Is a keeper of the Porter brand standards.

  • Actively participates in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

  • Fostering Communication: Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus.


  • 4+ years in a marketing related role.

  • 4+ years experience in project management.

  • Able to build business cases; strong business acumen.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization and with third party suppliers.

  • Good knowledge of the Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and the Google suite of products (Sheet, Slides, Forms).

  • Strong ability to manage tight production deadlines, with quick turnarounds and multiple projects.

  • Fluency in English required. Fluency in French an asset.

  • Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination
