Job Details
FUNCTION: Reporting to the Station Manager, Montreal
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effective planning of resources, time, and manpower.
Correctly identifies issues, views situations in their entirety and provides sound judgment in managing situations
Committed to customer satisfaction by exceeding customer expectations and helping others do the same.
Ensure the smooth and timely operation of aircraft departure and arrivals
Open and close the station ramp areas on a daily basis
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to ramp
On time reporting for their scheduled shifts
Identify and address employee lateness and sick call policy
Administer the Payroll process when required
Assist with recruitment when required
Assist with training for station ramp attendants when required
Inventory control of (non-catering) supplies
Assess the work performance and grooming standards of ramp agents
Provide accurate, timely, constructive feedback and coaching to all ramp agents
Assist ramp agents by delegating tasks to improve their efficiencies
Create team spirit and synergy
Reinforce the contribution of all team members
Provide customer feedback to Supervisor Customer service & Station Manager.

Assist with new hire shadowing, training and mentoring of
Recieve and store away catering orders, advise Station Manager when catering stock is getting low
Maintain a clean and safe workplace on the ramp, in equipment, common use, and catering area
Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply with and promote the Company Safety Policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Drivers License
Ability to obtain necessary security clearances;
Ability to work on a permanent basis in Canada;
Work rotating shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on-time reporting for work)
The applicant will be required to successfully complete the training program
Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70lbs on a regular basis
