Job Details

JOB TITLE:  Graphic Design Coordinator

FUNCTION: Reporting to the Director, Brand & Creative, the role focuses on graphic design based on the Porter graphic standards. This role works with the brand guidelines across a wide spectrum of corporate applications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Produce final artwork files for different media and different sizes, including digital, email advertising, signage, newspaper, magazine, and others as deemed appropriate

  • Upload or deliver materials to all media, and liaise with outside production departments

  • Illustrate marketing materials in different formats based on graphic standards

  • Maintain accurate online files of graphic design materials

  • Develop concept presentations

  • Multiple projects across multiple deadlines can be expected

  • Work on Mac OS

  • Any other duties as requested by the Director, Brand & Creative

  • Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS)

 QUALIFICATIONS


  • Graphic Design degree, or equivalent, from an accredited post secondary institution

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, HTML5, CSS

  • Developing HTML emails considered an asset

  • Working knowledge of Google Apps, Photoshop, InDesign

  • Animation skill considered an asset

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and accept direction

  • Keen aptitude for communicating with technical and non-technical resources

  • Excellent conceptual and creative skills

  • Able to effectively and quickly integrate changes into creative materials

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently

  • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail

  • Able to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
